Summer is coming to an end, and we are gearing up for another great year of EcoMovie Nights, Fossil Free Cal actions, weekly meetings, amazing produce provided by the Local to students on Sproul Plaza, and so much more!

Before we get together for weekly meetings with new members always welcome, we wanted to share what we’ve been up to this summer and let you or anyone you know whose interested in joining ASUC STeam what we’re all about!

Our amazing Director Judy spent the summer in Washington DC interning for the Center for American Progress!

Our friends at Fossil Free Cal spend the summer as fellows for 350.org!

Not to mention their presence at the July UC Regents Meeting, their participation in Summer Heat Richmond, GROW Divestment: Richmond, a Webinar for Student Action for University Community Investment, and the Responsible Endowments Coalition Summer Organizing Retreat.

For those of us who have been abroad, out of town, or swamped in summer school, we can’t wait to get back to working hard for a more sustainable university and future!

Come on, join us! You know you want to!
